Natan Slifkin Leture July 26, 2009 hosted by Walder Science Center

The Walder Science Laboratory and Learning Center is proud to host guest visiting lecturer Rabbi Natan Slifkin of Ramat Bet Shemesh. Rabbi Slifkin is a zoologist and author of (among others) "Challenge of Creation" and "Sacred Monsters". Rabbi Slifkin's intriguing lectures masterfully deal with controversial issues regarding science and Judaism. Rabbi Slifkin pulls no punches or makes apologies. He deals with perceived contradictions forthrightly all the while citing classical Jewish sources. Rabbi Slifkin's lecture on Dinosaurs with demonstration will be held at Congregation Kesser Maariv, 4341 W. Golf in Skokie, 7:30pm. Mark this date and place for a very enlightening evening. Tax deductible recommended donation is $18/person in advance of the lecture date and $25 at the door.
